BMD Northcliffe took out the the QLD State Championships by a massive 318 points at North Kirra
on the weekend. The Club finished with 36 Gold, 22 Silver and 26
Bronze. Standout performers were Lachlan Sergis with 4 gold and Dev
Lahey, Stefaan Demopoulos, Shannon Eckstein, Maddy Dunn, Tate Smith,
Murray Stewart, Elly Wikaire and Laura Taylor all with 3 golds each.
Our Masters also came away with a victory on Friday winning the pointscore by 8 points ahead of Noosa Heads.
The
Australian Surf Life Saving Championships will be held in 3 weeks time
at Scarborough, WA, where BMD Northcliffe will be going for their 10th
consecutive Australian Champion Club Title.
