Congratulations to Shannon Eckstein, Kristyl Smith and Terri Sullivan who were members of the winning Australian Surf Life Saving Team at the recent World Games in Taiwan.
Shannon, who was the team captain, took out the Ironman event while Kristyl Smith took out the Female Surf Race Championship. Kristyl also teamed up with clubmate, Terri Sullivan, to take out the Female Board Rescue event.
Other BMD Northcliffe Members to compete at the games for their country of origin were Dan Moodie (NZL) who took out the Male Board Race and Eloise Van-Gysen and Kendall Loots (RSA) who were in the winning Female Rescue Tube Rescue Team.
BMD Northcliffe members, Elizabeth Pluimers and Nathan Smith, were also originally selected in the Australian Team but pulled out due to injury.
